Love the hue from the Tungsten street lights!
Crossing gate with the glow in the night sky is also great!
It would look awesome if you can catch it flashing.
Yeah, it's funny how the camera pics up the light that way. The street's normally not that eerie.
The snow's mostly gone, and the trains don't go by that often, but if I catch them you can bet I'll post 'em somewhere.
Camera/film/sensor takes the picture as it sees it. Its sensitive to light in certain frequency's and that happens to be one of them. Our eyes/brain adjust for it. Its like a automatic light filter. Its not till we see a picture that we realize its happened. There are filters available to correct for it but I sort of like the oddness of it.
Yeah, I like the oddness of it too. Those last two wouldn't be nearly as cool if they were colored as we see them. It's more fun to see things through a different set of "eyes".
OT, but I LOVE that icon!
Get a tripod. These pictures would be x10 better with one. Long exposures are very cool.
I have one, but I usually do the "shoot from the hip" style. Lugging around a tripod and setting it up and all seems like a pain in the butt when I'm just wandering around.
I'm sure I'll wise up eventually. I'm still in my messing around phase.
2nd one and next to last one....reeks of depression. They aren't bad photos, don't get me wrong, its just how I'm interpreting them. They are ALL good...
